Textbooks

Students are responsible for obtaining the textbooks required for each class prior to the start of class sessions. You can list the texts for your own courses by clicking on the "Information" counter and logging into your Scholars Online account. Titles are linked back to Amazon, and the graphics version of the page will let you preview new book prices and used book prices if the same edition is available through an Amazon associate. If any required media is not available through Amazon, alternate sources will be listed.

Editions

Please be sure when ordering texts, study guides, or other teaching helps that you are purchasing the edition specified by the teacher for the appropriate year.

Passing on your texts

We realize that textbooks are expensive. In some cases, students may be able to use the same text for several years before the text becomes unavailable or is superceded by new editions. While Scholars Online does not directly support a buyback capability, members of Scholars Online may offer textbooks at the end of the year to other student members through a buyback topic on the bulletin board.

Make all your Amazon purchases through Scholars Online!

All funds earned through our partnership with Amazon go into our Scholars Online scholarship fund. In each of the last three years, we have been able to grant between $6000 and $8000 in tuition aid. So even when you are not buying texts, we encourage you to shop at Amazon.com through our school link. You get the same great prices and service, and you contribute to the SO scholarship fund at the same time!
