Latin 1B continues the elementary course begun in Latin 1A, covering chapters 11-20 of Frederic Wheelock's Latin Grammar at a pace more accessible to junior high students. When preceded by Latin 1A or equivalent, this two-year sequence will cover the same material as the one-year Latin 1 course, allowing students to move into Latin 2 in their third year of Latin study.Prerequisites

Admission to Latin 1B is automatic for those who have successfully completed Latin 1A, but open to outside applicants only with instructor approval.
Recommended background
An understanding of English grammar is beneficial, but the course will supply all necessary grounding.
