Deadlines for Summer Courses
and Scholarship Requests

Courses for the 2019 Summer Session

May 20 is the deadline for enrolling in summer session courses in time to ensure that you can attend orientation prior to the start of the session. Our summer session for 2019 starts the week of June 10 and includes some old and some new courses to help you learn skills and explore new topics.

Late enrollments may be accepted with teacher approval after this date, but may not be processed in time for students to attend live orientation sessions.

All courses meet once a week in live chat sessions from June 12 to August 16, with some variation and holidays, depending on the course. Enroll now at Scholars Online!

Scholarship Requests due June 1

Scholars Online receives donations for scholarships directly, and dedicates all money received from its Bookstore Amazon Associates affiliation to the Scholarship fund. Scholarships are granted on a case-by-case basis for tuition assistance when students would otherwise be unable to take courses due to job loss, medical expenses, or other family emergencies. Please contact accounts@scholarsonline.org to request information about scholarship availability for the 2019 Summer and Academic Year Courses. Scholarships are normally offered on June 1 to students who have enrolled for summer or fall courses and who have submitted a scholarship request citing financial need.

Direct contributions to our scholarship fund are tax-exempt, as Scholars Online is a 501(c)(3) organization. To make a donation by check or online, see our Scholarship page. You may also donate by making purchases from Amazon.com through the Scholars Online Bookstore site or by designating Scholars Online as your charity of choice at Smile at Amazon.
