French 3

French 3 with live Audio (Skype) and Chat classes: French 3 will focus on more complex structures in syntax and grammar. The students will enhance their vocabulary for speaking about everyday life in French. The goal is for student to reach a B1 level according to the Council of Europe's language standards. The class will follow a multimedia format, where students have access to audio, video and documents from native French speakers. We will use the chatroom from Scholars Online and an internet-calling program like Skype.

Prerequisites

Scholars Online French 1 and French 2 or a program that uses D'accord 1 and D'accord 2. Otherwise the student can take a placement test and will be accepted if she or he has a least a C on the test (70%).

Recommended background

A French 1 and French 2 class. If the student has not taken the class with Scholars Online, he or she should consult with the teacher to see which level would be best.
