This class is primarily for students in 6th-8th grade.
The purpose of the class is to introduce students to the basics of grappling with a story and asking questions about it. Using classic texts, students will be asked to use their critical thinking to cover the full narrative spectrum of each story, from overarching concepts and plot to fine details and character development.
Teacher's notes:
The stated weekdays and times are not set in stone. Class times can be flexible, as long as the proposed time/day change is suitable for all students and the instructor. Do not hesitate to contact the instructor to arrange class time.
Please make sure that there is the potential for an extra 15 mins of class overtime. Sometimes conversations and discussions mean we don't finish the notes in the 75 minutes allotted for class.
Most assignments will be sent via email with a PDF attached.
