Spanish 3

Spanish 3--High Intermediate Spanish: The third of a multi-year sequence designed to help students reach an intermediate-high level of proficiency. The focus will be on more complex structures in syntax and grammar than were encountered in Level 2. Classes will consist of two 75 minute online sessions each week to be conducted online using audio and whiteboard functions. Class time will be devoted to conversational practice and listening comprehension exercises, oral presentations, explanations of grammar and related exercises, and reading aloud. Time will also be spent reviewing homework and addressing students' questions. Homework activities on the textbook's integrated website will be assigned after most classes.

Prerequisites

Students must have passed Scholars Online Spanish 2 or receive a "C" grade or better on a placement test modeled on the level 2 final exam.
